About the counseling

What is logotherapeutic couples counseling?

Logotherapy is the meaning-centered approach developed by Viktor E. Frankl. In couples counseling, we help you explore shared values and meaning in your relationship – as the foundation for real, lasting change rather than merely treating symptoms.

Is this psychotherapy?

No. We work as life and social counselors (psychosocial counseling) under § 119 of the Austrian Trade Act (GewO). This is not psychotherapy and not medical treatment, and it does not replace them. Where treatment is needed, we refer you to the appropriate services.

Who is the counseling for?

For couples in crisis, facing major decisions, or wishing to grow consciously together – and also for individuals, when a partner is not yet ready.

Who are Angela and Dieter Ehrenreich?

We are a couple and both trained life and social counselors. Angela Ehrenreich (Mag. iur.) and Dieter Ehrenreich (Mag.) accompany couples together at the SinnZENTRUM in Salzburg – in person, online, and intensively.

Process & formats

How does classic couples counseling work?

The process begins with a free introductory conversation (30 minutes). This is followed by individual sessions with each partner before the joint couples sessions begin. A session lasts 60 minutes and takes place in person, online, or in a hybrid format.

What is the two-day intensive counseling?

After an online introductory conversation come two days in Salzburg: two individual hours and five couples hours in total. Ideal for couples who live farther away or want to work intensively in a short span of time.

Do you also offer online counseling?

Yes. Counseling is offered in person at our practice in Salzburg, online, or in a hybrid format.

What is the coaching for entrepreneurial couples?

An offer for couples in whose lives one or more businesses play a central role and where the lines between work, family, and partnership blur – with the goal of creating more awareness and clearer boundaries between the different roles.
